Text counters, converters and comparison tools.

How these tools work
OpenToolKit focuses on useful browser-based utilities. Individual pages explain what a tool does, how to use it, and its limits. Most current text and data processing happens locally in your browser.
We only list tools that are already available. Additional categories such as PDF and image processing are planned, not advertised as functional.
How to choose a tool
Start with the task rather than the file type alone. For example, merge PDF combines complete documents, while split PDF selects specific pages. JSON Formatter validates syntax; JSON Compare identifies changed parsed values. Each tool page includes a realistic example and describes what the output can and cannot preserve.
For step-by-step explanations, see the OpenToolKit guides. We do not promise perfect conversion for encrypted, damaged or complex documents.
Writing tools work on different units
Word Counter measures length and estimated reading time, Case Converter adjusts letter capitalization, and Text Difference Checker compares lines between versions. They do not provide grammar proofreading or editorial judgment.
For step-by-step examples, consult our practical guides and test the output before using it in important work.
